We replaced the original single glazed windows in this beautiful Victorian House in Teddington with new hardwood double glazed sashes.
Our clients windows were single glazed and softwood and they wanted a more durable solution with better heat retention and energy efficiency. The original windows were stunning with a 6 over 1 design at the front, so it was important to our clients to replicate these period features keeping the original style of the house. We replicated the windows and installed new standard hardwood double glazed sashes into the existing boxes. We restored the original sash boxes, retaining the full character of the property. The new sash windows were complimented with polished chrome sash furniture and sash stop locks.
We found the team very efficient, on time every morning and they left the house clean and tidy at the end of the day. Our new sash windows are perfect and in-keeping with the style of the house. They slide up and down easily and all noise outside is kept to a minimum. They look fantastic and we have had lots of nice comments from the neighbours’. Highly recommend Sashwise.
